We regret to announce that as the Dead by April SlaughTour 2011 is postponed to December, Machinae Supremacy is no longer able to participate due to prior obligations and plans.
We wish DBA and Marionette the best on their upcoming tour! As for Machinae Supremacy, we look forward to other opportunities and future tours, but for now, we shift our focus to the writing and producing of music.
The work on the Gravity Run OST is under way. We expect to see a teaser trailer from BadgerPunch games in the near future featuring a short edit of the main theme of the game, and it is our hope to be finished with all songs for the soundtrack within the coming two months.
Spinefarm expects us to do at least 3 more albums featuring their logo, so material for our next studio album release will also be at the forefront of our focus for the rest of 2011. Expect nothing less than win and awesome!

You went on a tour while you had other plans? How did the label agree to that? Or did they just pull you out to make more albums more quickly? Either way, sounds like something is messed up here.

It means that we had dedicated all of November for this, and planned other things for December, and as the tour was moved (from November to December), some of us in the band and were unable to change or break free from those plans and obligations. Tours take a lot of planning and are planned far in advance just because you need a lot of preparation and planning, and when it all changes like that, you have to start that process again. And sadly, it didn’t work out.
Now that’s a real answer, not some “Welll… we had some… disagreements… with someone we can’t name… and that’s why we’re on to other things… it’s complicated, you know”. Thanks for letting us know how it is, Robert.
